Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh

Depart from Hanoi Old Quarter and Hanoi Opera House, heading to Hà Giang! Enjoy breakfast on the expressway.

Stop for lunch at Tan Yen Town (Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang Province). Then, continue alongside the Lo River.

Arrive in downtown Hà Giang, perfect for capturing photos at the iconic “0th km” marker.

Proceed to Quan Ba Sky Gate, where you’ll marvel at the stunning views of Co Tien Mountain and Tam Sơn Town from above. Don’t miss the opportunity for memorable photos.

Arrive in Yen Minh, check into the hotel, and enjoy dinner. Spend the night in Yen Minh.

Day 2: Yen Minh – Dong Van Plateau – Meo Vac – Bao Lac

Enjoy breakfast, and explore Đong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. Visit Pho Cao to see the unique homes of the H’Mong people.

Head to Sung La to see the H’Mong Ancient house, where the film “Story of Pao” was shot in 2006. Relax at Buckwheat Flower Fields.

Continue to the Vuong family mansion in Sa Phin valley, once the wealthiest family in early 20th-century Đong Van.

Visit Lung Cu Flagpole, the northernmost point of Vietnam.

Enjoy lunch in Đong Van town.

Explore Đong Van Ancient Town, steeped in nearly a century of history.

Resume the journey, passing through the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass en route to Meo Vac, the most scenic stretch of the “Happy Way”.

Return to Yen Minh, stopping to photograph Buckwheat Flowers under Ma Pi Leng Pass.

Arrive in Bao Lac for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Bao Lac -Ban Gioc Waterfall – Tiger Cave – Cao Bang

Enjoy breakfast and depart by car for Cao Bang, with a chance to admire the scenic Ma Phuc Pass.

Stop for lunch in Quang Uyen town.

Explore the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall, standing at 53m tall and divided into three levels.

Visit Nguom Ngao Cave, one of northern Vietnam’s largest caves.

Discover Phuc Sen Knife Village, renowned for its traditional knife-making.

Arrive in Cao Bang, check into the hotel, and enjoy dinner. Afterward, you’re free to unwind as you please.

Day 4: Cao Bang – Pac Po – Pac Ngoi Village

Enjoy breakfast, then depart by car for Pac Bo

Explore the Pac Bo historic monument, located 50km from Cao Bằng

Continue by car to Ba Be, passing by scenic landmarks such as Tai Ho Sin Pass, Cao Bac Pass, and Wind Pass.

Have lunch at a restaurant atop Wind Pass.

Arrive in Pac Ngoi village. Check into a homestay for relaxation and bathing. Enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the views of Ba Be lake.

Dinner time. Experience a traditional Tay music performance.

Day 5: Ba Be Lake – Hanoi

Join our tour guide to Pac Ngoi boat station. Highlights include: Tien Pond; An Ma Temple and Ba Goa Island

Enjoy lunch in Cho Ra town.

Arrive back in Hanoi, marking the end of the tour. Farewell and until we meet again!
